The eventual destination of the artwork affects the customs and import taxes. Duties, taxes, brokerage, and import all factor towards the cost of customs. This charge is not covered by the quoted shipping cost. The buyer is responsible for paying these costs, which will be levied by the ultimate destination upon arrival.
